The source of inspiration for MFC Medieval Monogram is the 1934 “Book of American Types” by American Type Founders. Found in that specimen book was a set of Lombardic initials known as Missal Initials that was available in limited size metal castings.
This wonderful typeface is now digitally recreated, revived, and updated with highly customizable monogramming in mind.
