PiS Wanderlust is inspired by specimens from the book Die Schriften des Malers from 1950 and by vintage hand painted signposts and guides found on hikes in the outskirts of Vienna and rural Austria, hence the name Wanderlust!
Although classic, constructed modernist it features some charmingly unfashionable quirks and is available in rounded for a smooth and warm feel.

Noted New Zealand architect Bruce Rotherham (19262004) was inspired by Herbert Bayers universal alphabet created at the Bauhaus in 1927.
While he admired Bayers pure geometry, Rotherham felt it was virtually unreadable. The Bauhaus-inspired inclination for architectural publications to use sans serif faces provoked Rotherham to consider how a readable Roman book face might be approached using some of Bayers same principles of simplification, but also retracing the evolution and use of the Roman form in an analytic manner.

MB Vinatage is a 6 weight font family with italics that has its roots based firmly in the type and font design of the early 20th Century. With some art deco touches in the standard caps like the N and the low bars on the E, F & H but using the stylistic alternates these can be changed to give the font a more contemporary look.
The same applies to the lower case letters, with an alternate a and g and a stylistic lowercase t. The family works great as a display font using the thin and heavy weights and just as well for smaller & bulk text.
